Coming Soon: God Calling

What would you do if you really got a call from God?

That’s the question writer and Director BB Sasore wants you to answer after watching the trailer of God Calling. If your supposedly perfect life takes a U-turn, who will you lean on to set it back on course?

God Calling tells a story of faith, obedience, healing, hope, purpose and hearing from God in times of trouble. It explores sometimes contrasting themes: Life vs Death. Husband vs Wife. Rich vs Poor. Temptation vs Deliverance. And the biggest battle of them all: You vs God!

From the creators of Banana Island Ghost and About 30, here is the trailer of God Calling:

Unlike the amateurish Mount Zion films we grew up on, the trailer of God Calling shows it is a faith-based movie that will garner respect both from industry professionals and the ordinary moviegoer.

It is an emotional roller-coaster! Its story looks compelling, the performances look promising, and Zainab Balogun looks right at home here; delivering what looks like her best performance yet.

Also, there is the impressive use of CGI to show an amputee (RMD); a sight not common – or done amateurishly – in other genres in Nollywood let alone a faith-based movie.

Cast: Zainab Balogun, Richard Mode Damijo, Karibi Fubara, Nkem Owoh, Onyeka Onwenu, Seun Ajayi, Eku Edewor, and Tina Mba.

Directed and written by B. B. Sasore.

God Calling will be in cinemas nationwide from December 21st.
