Three months after its theatrical release, Ebonylife Films’ Chief Daddy will be available to viewers from around the world via Netflix.
The star-studded family drama, which was released in cinemas nationwide on December 7, 2018, is the third movie from Ebonylife Films to be licensed to Netflix. The other two are Fifty and The Wedding Party.
Billionaire industrialist, Chief Beecroft, who dies unexpectedly while having lunch, leads an unexpected family reunion as they are forced to unite and organize a fitting farewell for Chief Daddy. His wife, sister, children, household staff and assorted mistresses all jostle to position themselves for their share of the funeral budget – just in case they are not included in the will. Once the will is read, Chief Daddy will have the last laugh from beyond the grave.
The comedy is directed by Niyi AKinmolayan, who also helmed EbonyLife Film’s Wedding Party: Destination Dubai. It stars all your favorite Nollywood stars including Richard Mofe-Damijo, Rachel Oniga, Nkem Owoh, Patience Ozokwor, Joke Sylvia, Falz, Ini Edo, Funke Akindele, Linda Ejiofor, Bisola Aiyeola, and Dakore Akande.
